Default No output for the Sound

Hi,

I've looked around the website and I see that a lot of people have the problem that they can't get the sound to work with Procaster, and I'm one of them. I can't find a real answer that tells me what the problem is and if it is possible to fix. At the preferences, I got 3 sound options.

- Default audio input; As it says, it's an input, so it's from outside the pc into the pc
- Realtek HD Audio put; same as above
- Device audio; It's the audio from the device, but I'm streaming my screen.

There is NO Speakers' Audio. I hope someone got a solution, maybe using other software for the output audio or just fixing this problem in Procaster, I really like to get started with Procaster, because it seems like a lot of fun, which some people unfortunantly can't be a part of.

Greetings, Zoast

Yeah same problem! It's crazy difficult to figure it out, I know there's a way. If I do a normal non-procaster broadcast, can I get speaker audio???

I'm having the same problem. Except I do have an option for Speaker Audio, and I STILL can't broadcast sound.

What the heck?

Have you enabled "stereo mix" on your sound card? This will broadcast what your computer plays (i.e Itunes, Zune, whatever)

I've been having this same issue forever. When I enable stereo mix, it does indeed play back my sounds, but it loops continuously. It replays the replay of sound, basically.

I had the problem attempting to stream games with their original sound and was able to solve it with the software of my soundcard, where I can set the default input device to "Wave", which is actually the output. If I do this (and I have to repeat it after each re-boot), the Default Input Device setting in Procaster works. Perhaps your sound settings allow something similar.

I use Windows XP, the sound program is C-Media 3D Audio configuration.
