Question First Feedbacks/Questions

- How can the green corner capture elements be made invisible on the broadcast?
- How can I adjust the sound level while broadcasting?
- I don't understand when and how the picture size is adjusted according to the picture quality.
- Is it necessary to use the new beta window/layout to properly use Procaster?
- Is it advisable to change the compression settings?
- Is it possible to broadcast with the new Mac Procaster (because it is said that it should not be used for production)

The only problem I've encountered is broadcasting desktop audio. I've tinkered with basically every system setting I can, and it will not detect.

Extremely disappointing, as screen broadcasting is basically the key feature of Procaster. Hopefully they have a quick fix for this.

Hello kedarvideo

>> How can the green corner capture elements be made invisible on the broadcast?
will be fixed in our next release, hopefully in a couple of days
- I don't understand when and how the picture size is adjusted according to the picture quality.

>> the higher the quality, the bigger the video size, and the lower (usually, depends on your hardware) the frame rate

- Is it necessary to use the new beta window/layout to properly use Procaster?
>> not sure I understand, can you explain?

- Is it advisable to change the compression settings?
>> you can definetely play with it.
the less 'keyframe interval', the more keyframes -> better quality, consumes more network bandwidth
the more 'target bitrate' -> better quality, consumes more network bandwidth
the higher 'target frame rate' --> better quality, consumes more bandwidth. just have in mind that the frame rate will not go higher than what the camera is able to provide, which is usualy 30fps for dv cam and 20 fps for the built-in web cam

and vice versa - you could lower them if you see performance problems

- Is it possible to broadcast with the new Mac Procaster (because it is said that it should not be used for production

>> of course its possible... didn't you try? ;production means, for mission-critical broadcasts
