Procaster on windows 7 64 bit

not sure if its win 7 or 64 bit causeing the problems, but when I go live, the video always lag behind the audio. The audio is live, but the video is dozen seconds and even minutes behind real time. didnt have this with vista 32 bit

I have this same issues on Win 7 64 bit - the audio lags behind the video. I also tried the new beta 10.0 and it's still a problem

I think I just figured out why there is a delay in Win 7 on the audio using Procaster. I was looking at my sample rate that my sound card was using vs. Procaster.

Win 7 automatically puts the sample rate to 48 or 96k. Procaster uses 44.1K.

I moved the sample rate on my sound card to 44.1K and voila we have audio sync.

I don't know if this is the situation for everyone else using Win 7. Hopefully this fix works for you.

Well, I typed to soon. I'm now having the same small delay as last night before I thought I found the fix.

how much is the delay you are experiencing?

1. if you could set perfomance_log to 1 in procaster_global.xml (see FAQ for location of this file)
2. run, reproduce the bug and send us the logs (press Save Logs in preferences dialog, video tab) to procaster@livestream.com with an 'audio-sync issue' subject line

I think it might be the Many-Cam software. When I just used by Logitech Pro 9000 webcam as the source, there wasn't a delay.

Hi

Could you please describe the problem more? a screenshot or video would be best. Also, please check the FAQ for how to send the logs when such issues occur
