Procaster refuses to broadcast

I am trying to broadcast on my new channel yet procaster refuses to do so. I keep getting the message, " I am not a member of this channel" despite the fact that I am the one that made it! I even go to my channel's page and there is no option to become a member. What gives? I hope someone here can help me since the FAQs did not help at all.
