How can I make a live broadcast work with audio from a conference call line? We're looking to have a video of a computer screen as well as an external camera.

Take conference calls via Skype or Oovoo and send the audio to the stream.
Alternately you'd need to send all the audio to a mixing board and then into some program that'll see it as one source. I use Telestream Wirecast and the free Desktop Presenter they distribute. On the Mac I can use the free SoundFlower to send all the Skype audio to Wirecast. In short, SoundFlower sends audio from Skype. Desktop Presenter can send Skype Video and/or I can point it to the computer screen, PowerPoint, Keynote or whatever. All this allows me to make a PiP in Wirecast too. |
