Hi,

We had a lot of problems. JW player v5 was not working with Livestream a couple of weeks ago, so downgrade to v4.6 to ensure that it will work.

Here is a sample code which works:

<script type="text/javascript" src="/swfobject.js"></script>
<div id="livestream">The selected video could not be found.</div>
<script type="text/javascript">
var s1 = new SWFObject('/player.swf', 'mpl', '560', '315', '9');
s1.addParam('allowscriptaccess','always');
s1.addParam('allowfullscreen','true');

s1.addParam('flashvars','file=ifgtv&type=livestrea m&livestream.devkey=b7_6q9

vpZ2sI308ojNM6c6dTTBWwNIE&screencolor=#000000');
s1.write('livestream');
</script>

Thanks for the reply, I downgraded this morning to JW Player 4.6 and everything works just fine. So looks like the Livestream plugin is not compatible with version 5

We can also confirm this:
5.0 JW Player does NOT work with Livestream. The 4.6 version of JW Player DOES work however.

Yes, we are still working on our integration with the new version 5.0 of JWPlayer.

Thank you for your patience

Question Video On Demand

Does this include VOD functionality? I have searched high and low for this and while I can get the livestream channel going fine using 4.6, I cannot see how to specify a specific clip.

Unfortunately the current JWPlayer integration doesn't have VOD support.
We have a new version for JWPlayer 5.0 comming out shortly that will support VOD though.

Thanks for being patient

Thank you,

I am having that issue, but only in internet explorer.

Does Livestream now support JWPlayer 5.0 or is this still a WIP? I need to know so I can update my website accordingly (I'd like to use JWPlayer instead of the Livestream player if at all possible)

I already have a host for the SWF object as it's also used as the embedded player for each of my audio podcast posts (All I need to do is edit the height & width dimensions)

Speaking of the height/width dimensions of JWPlayer, WHAT ARE THE LIMITS of those dimensions as they relate to Livestream streams? My plan to use 640 x 385 (Which is the same as the large Livestream player). Is this doable?

Cheers & 73
