Watching livestreams has recently been laggy for me

Hi everybody

Well the title makes my problem pretty much obvious but recently, since only 4-5 days, watching a stream has been very laggy for me. I don't know why, I have a 75 Mega connection and it was working in the past so I don't see the problem. I'm the only one lagging on the livesteam so I do think that problem comes from me.

I used two different PC, differents web browsers, turning material acceleration on and off for flash player etc. but nothing worked so far.

Any ideas? Thank you

Please run a few speedtests to New York, NY and let me know what your average download speed is. Additionally, try right clicking the video and selecting the 'Toggle Experimental Mode' option.

I made a few tests for NY and appearently it is rather laggy, my average download speed is 3,6 Mega.



But my "normal" connection is 75 Mega (about 8mb/s). I don't know why, I live in Geneva, Switzerland.

Oh right, toggling the experimental mode made it kinda worst: scenes repeated itselves a lot of times and I just couldn't follow the stream.

Does this issue occur on all Livestream broadcasts or only the one channel?

It happens on most of high quality livestreams.

He streams in a rather high quality so it makes me lag but the other people on it, which have a pretty normal connection (like 5-10 Mega in France), don't lag.

On other less demanding livestreams I could naturally watch them without any big problems.

Appearently some other users of my network subscription also have lags. There was lags on Dailymotion and on Live streams.

I guess there's a problem between the servers and I guess I'll have to wait for it to be fixed.

I have this problem too, every livestream stream i watch is really choppy.
(I have no such problem or another streaming service)

Is it possible at all you can test this on a different network/different ISP and different network/same ISP to see if the issue persists?
