iTouch & roofexpert,
This should now be functioning normally. Please let us know if you're still having issues importing videos from YouTube. Best, Jason |

I am using Chrome on Mac OS X Snow Leopard. I have the newest version of Flash and Java installed. I approved the applet, and it fails when I try to import from YouTube.
[Update - Firefox (newest version) looks like it's going to work] Last edited by acmecomedy; 29th September 2011 at 15:35. Reason: new info |

xcelministry,
I've taken a look in your studio and do not see what you are referencing. Could you explain the issue a little further? It looks like two separate clips (different audio, different video) in your Studio, with the same duration.

VenusProjectRBE,
I've looked through your studio and cannot find any clips that behave as you've described. Please provide the name of a clip that is acting as you've described as well as a screenshot so I can see what the issue may be.

I am a disabled American Veteran and I am trying to start a channel to help other disabled Veterans, I have set up a channel but when I try to import videos from youtube it keeps saying failed. I have allowed the "Java applet" but still no luck.. I have tried this on a new toshiba tablet with no luck, I tried it with a 1 year old Dell with no luck, and I have recently bought a new MacBook Pro and I still get the failed message. Please can someone help?

nytjs78,
Which browser are you using? I would suggest importing using Firefox if you are not using this browser already. Could you also confirm you are using the latest version of Java, as these imports are heavily dependent on Java version as well as security settings.

Java Version 1.6.0_30 from Sun Microsystems Inc.
I try to import with your livestream studio (http://www.livestream.com/channels/studio...) from youtube. Dragging the video found by the video url into the storyboard a dialog opens: "Please click "Start" to begin importing the clip: xyz. WARNING: Your browser will ask you to authorize the Livestream import applet to run. The import will fail if you don't authorize this...." Then "initializing" is displayed followd by "failed", no other window comes up... only once the authorization dialogue was shown, but the failed as well. Java is enabled. Could you give some hint about finding an error log? Thank you! Last edited by gnpma; 16th May 2012 at 13:24. Reason: addet Java version |
