Default Over the Shoulder Graphic

What is a good standard size and resolution for the over the shoulder graphic. I have tried a varitity of sizes and my graphic always comes out very pixelated. Any help would be nice.

I have tried a variety of different resolutions, but generally, the higher the better in this case.

YOU GUYS - HOW DO I CREATE OVER THE SHOULDER GRAFICS? ITS SAYS "url" BUT I HAVE USED A URL TO A WEBSITE WHERE I FIND PICTURES BUT THAT DIDNT WORK?

Try the direct image URL (ending in .jpg or similar) as opposed to the website URL.
