"Loading" icon only when trying to stream via OBS or Wirecast

Hello.

I'm trying to stream to Livestream via both Open Broadcaster Software and Wirecast. I got the bitrate under 500 kb/s (as needed for free channels), and both programs say that they're now streaming.

However, when I go to Livestream, I can only see a loading icon popping up or just a black screen without any sounds.

What's the problem here?

Have you tried restarting your channel?

-Go to your Account Center
-Click the 'More' button at the far right of your channel
-From the options that roll out below your channel, click 'Restart'
