Question I can't figure out how to Record my screen

http://perlsjenkins.deviantart.com/art/01-145239805 That's what it looks like when I try to go to options. I really want to start up my channel but I can't until I can figure out how to record my screen with it.

I also have this problem, it will not give me a sharing screen option, on the front menu...or anywhere else.
I can use DV cam and my built in USB source [iSight] for video. But there is no option for screen.

however, once I start to broadcast, I can then select the screen option in the controller bar. On the PC version you have the option to share screen from the front menu...so I dunno. Really bizarre tho. Will there be an option to share a 2nd monitor, instead of your main working monitor??

It is so difficult to understand...I use Macvide ScreenCap. Macvide ScreenCap allows you to capture and record anything you can see on your screen to image, video or flash. You can record audio from your desktop or from a microphone or other input device. With ScreenCap you can visual tutorials based on your own desktop content and movements. You can also use ScreenCap as a monitoring device.

atmediaweb,

Can you explain exactly what you'd like to do? If you just want to broadcast what is on your screen, select 'No camera' from the Procaster input sources list and hit the big 'Go Live' button. This should begin broadcasting your entire desktop by default. You can click 'Zoom in' on the Procaster HUD to show crop marks, which you can drag around to select an area of your screen to capture.

Is it necessary to have downloaded Procaster in order to broadcast? All I want to do is record my screen. Another thing: does Procaster only work on a PC? I use a Mac, see, and that's where I do all of my stuff, it seems.

HydroProjectMaster

I would recommend using Procaster because you will be able to use the Desktop capture mode. Procaster works for both Macs and PCs and can be found here : procaster.com.
