Smile Brazilian Lutheran Church Broadcasts - Keepeing it simple

Hello all!

We are starting a project to broadcast videos of our church. We plan to provide live broadcasting of sunday services and on-demand videos.

The channel is http://livestream.com/luteranaaovivo

We don't want to spent more money than necessary on it, so we will keep it as simple as necessary. We are working only with donated equipment.

We have, for now, the following:
* 2 Old Analog Video Cameras;
* PICO 2000 video capture board
* An REALLY old analog video switcher (that is meant to be used for survilance systems, but does a great job!)
* Sound output from our pre-existant audio mixing system
* 1Mbps Download / 350Kbps Upload Internet connection
* 1 AMD 2.4Ghz PC w/ 1Gb RAM.

We choose to use livestream, with Adobe Media Encoder for best results.

We have done our first broadcast on livestream last sunday. We had great results for most viewers, but some of them coud not watch because of bandwidth problems. I've started this thread to discuss it:
http://livestream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2379

Does anyone would like to make suggestions on what should we work/improve first, or give any tips on what could we do to improve the broadcast mantaining a low cost profile?

PS: I'll provide some photos to the "Production photos" thread... I hink you will ike the cameras and the video switcher we are using lol...

Some photos from our "studio"

As I've said, almost all is donated stuff. On the first image you can see one of our cameras. Notice the old security video switcher we use to switch cameras, and the nice tv to preview what is going on on the cameras

Yeah. Use the latest version of Procaster in H.264 mode.

Hope this helps.....

Cheers

EDIT Could one of you techies fix this whereas the post makes sense? Thanks.
