I have tried to use Procaster with my Hauppauge HDPVR - Gaming Edition and it just wont work.
I open Procaster, login etc and it turns my windows 7 colours to basic. I then choose my Hauppauge in the drop down menu. Click the big red GO LIVE button. It then does the connecting etc fine and gets to Starting Camera, after a few seconds it pops up an error saying that its busy when I know its not because nothing else is opening it at that time. If I do it all via XSplit it seems to work but the program says 90% of my CPU is being used and the delay from whats happened to whats been showed is about 5 minutes. Can anyone help me please? Oh and its the latest version of Procaster as I downloaded it today. (29/06/2012) |

SingingTurnip,
That Hauppauge device is not currently supported by Procaster, however you could update to the latest beta version to see if you have better results. You could also try using the software included with your Hauppague to display the video on your screen, then use Procaster to capture/stream it.

SingingTurnip,
Hauppauge devices are yet to be officially supported, but this is added as a feature request for possible future implementation.
