Links attached to videos

Would it be possible to have a unique link which you can specify for each video clip + a button somewhere on the player which would go live when a clip that's playing contains a link?

For example, if you had a video which you would like to have further info about, or even a page where you could have associated content like a text document, info about the video or even the means of buying a CD / DVD / download - or simply getting in touch with the artists or producer of that particular item - that would be great.

For my forthcoming live event planned in August 2010 I'd really like to be able to have something like this - on a clip by clip basis.
