Certain Games That Use DirectX 9/10 Will Not Stream

The games in question are Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on PC. Attempting to stream these using "Game" mode only results in procaster openning a window saying something along the lines of "To begin streaming, open a DirectX 9, 10, or OpenGL game and press Ctrl+F1" despite these being the circumstances that caused the window to appear.





The problem likely occurs with other games but I have yet to see it in any other games I have tried streaming. Most other games using DirectX go fantastic, such as Dead Space, Dragon Age: Origins, Silent Hunter 3, Mount&Blade, Team Fortress 2, and Medieval 2: Total War.

we have found that Modern Warfare does stream, albeit with bitrate issues. see the following thread: http://www.livestream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2289

in any case we are in the process of testing this game thoroughly
