Looks like %-values make trouble.
Can you try using px-values?

I dont see any failure in the script but there where some white-spaces that could make trouble.
For me the code you posted works fine.
I changed the size as well and it worked fine.
Tested it on Firefox 3.5.2 and Internet Explorer 8.
I'll add the file I tested as attachmend (test.html.txt and test.SSH-Large-Channel.html.txt)
Rename them to .html and try.

If you still have trouble I recommend you to try out the HTML Player API.
It supports wmode as well and is easy configurable:
http://www.livestream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1525
I worked out an small example for you, see the files test.SSH-Large-Channel_api.html.txt and swfobject.js.txt .
Rename them to .html and .js and place them in the same directory on the server.
Try out those and tell me the result.
Attached Files
File Type: txt test.SSH-Large-Channel.html.txt (1.2 KB, 7 views)
File Type: txt test.html.txt (950 Bytes, 9 views)
File Type: txt test.SSH-Large-Channel_api.html.txt (936 Bytes, 7 views)
File Type: txt swfobject.js.txt (10.0 KB, 6 views)

FVMK,

Thank you very much for taking the time to assist me.

I downloaded all your test files and uploaded them into my server.
All but one worked correctly. It was test.SSH-Large-Channel_api.html and swfobject.js.

I'm all on Mac and Sun Microsystems "Safari, FireFox Browsers". I do have an old PC running XP and 7.0 IE which I fired up... All files didn't work less the HTML API using swfobject.js. Since I'm using completely different OS and browsers, I could only guess that is reason why your getting different results on your end.

Here is where I implemented my change: http://www.surfshooterhawaii.com/main/index.html

Mahalo again for the Kokua!

Hi again.

Looks good so far.
Dont forget to insert your API-Key.
The API-Key isnt checked yet but soon will be, then your player wont work until you enter an key. You can generate your key here:
http://secure.livestream.com/myaccount/api

Also I noticed you don't specify any charset in your html-files. Earlyer or later youll run into problems this way. I recommend to use the UTF-8 charset if you use any special characters, else you can of course use the iso-8859-1 charset. Also make sure you safe your html-files using this charset (dont specify iso-8859-1 and safe it as utf-8).
There is also a typo in the javascript: WMode:'windwo' should be WMode:'window' (my failure).

If you need need to test your site on different browsers and oses I can recommend
http://browsershots.org/
It opens your site with several browsers and takes screenshots of it. Not all browsers have flash installed, but it gives a good idea how your site performs.

Tks again for the pointing out that I need KEY and fixing VMode:window....

I'm just a web hack and pretty much just manually create my pages and
host them on my web servers (PowerMac G5's w/T1 ISP connection).

Okay on iso-8859-1 charset... I do specify it on my other pages....

I will check out browsershots.org website as well.

You have been very helpful and saved me a great deal of time searching for this information.

I rather be surfing or shooting the surf!

Mahalo and Aloha!
