Default video driver problem--no 2d or 3d mix

I am unable to use the 2D or 3D (in Procaster) options on my Dell Precision M65. It's got a NVIDIA Quadro FX 350M video card and the most recent driver from Dell that is available. I've used this camera (Panasonic GS5000) with different laptops before and it works fine (2D & 3D works).

Any suggestions as to how I can get this laptop to work properly with Procaster. I've got a live event on Monday and I need to use this machine.

Thanks.

Peter

Default no 3D live

When I switch to 2D or 3D mix my screen is black. My global xml file was set as per the instruction. FYI I'm using Windows XP.

Thanks.

Peter

Cool

Hi

I'm not sure why is that happening. I assume you tried all the steps mentioned in the mentioned thread. if so, maybe the following additional steps will help:
1. trying to free up memory by closing all other applications during broadcast
2. making sure the display is on 32 bit
3. changing screen resolution ot 1024x768 or lower

let us know if it helped. Otherwise we will be glad for the logs and XMLs.

thanks
