Arrow how can I add other USB cam??

Hi
I think I've made a little mistake.

I've bought a wonderful HD cam (CANON HG10) and I wanted to use it for livestreaming on my channel (isnotv).

but this camera has NO FIREWIRE, so I have to plug it in my Mac with USB port.

But when I try to set this camera for livestreaming, It doesen't appear in the source camera menu, because if I set the USB source, it gives me just the built in webcam.

In my computer I've succesfully installed the CANON HG10 - videocam software, so I ask what can I do for use it here in livestream.

thanks

ROberta

You should be able to use a DV signal over USB for streaming. Ensure that the camera is set to export DV rather than HDV if it's a HDV camera and ensure that the camera is recognized by the computer (you can test by opening iMovie or another program that would recognize the camera) and not already in use by another program when you enter the studio.
