Default Automating the starting and stopping of Procaster???

I need to be able to somehow automate the start and stop of a broadcast with Procaster on the mac. I'm open to using Applescript, whatever I can do? I would love to be able to do this from the command line so I can script things out. It looks like the Windows version has this. Is anyone doing anything similar on the Mac?

We run a radio studio and we're big on automation. We're Unix guys. Our automation software to run our audio broadcasts gives us the ability to launch scripts with certain types of audio tracks play. Ideally, I would be able to script this so when a show intro starts, a script can go and kick off Procaster to broadcast and record the video stream. Right now we're doing this manually and it's terrible and inaccurate.

Thanks
