USB 3 vs USB 2

Is it better to use a USB 3.0 express card or use a USB 2.0 card, does it even make a difference?

Depends on what you're trying to do, we might be able to give you a better answer if you provide some detail on your workflow, though generally I like to discourage the use of Express Cards. A USB 3.0 Express Card will not work with something like the Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle.
