Whenever I try to view someone's stream, all it does is show a loading circle and refreshes the image every 30 seconds or so, and there isn't any audio. Sometimes, however, it will either spontaneously play or play an add and resume the stream as normal, but that rarely happens. Refreshing the page like mad does nothing.
Anyone know how to fix this? Any answer is greatly appreciated. |

Vaneetra,
Try disabling pop up blockers and clearing your cache and cookies. Also I would recommend using either FireFox or Google Chrome as your browsers. Regards, Jonathan |

First frame shows, loading graphic spins, no audio, nothing else happens. Refreshing page does nothing. No popup blockers are installed. Cookies and cache have been cleared; nothing changed.

occupylasvegas,
Does this happen for every channel you try to watch, or is it one in particular? If it's just one, can you please provide the channel name? Does it occur across multiple browsers? Have you installed the most current version of Flash? Also, please test your bandwidth at www.speedtest.net with your destination server set for New York, NY and let us know the result.

Thanks for the quick response.
>> Does this happen for every channel you try to watch, or is it one in particular? If it's just one, can you please provide the channel name? Does it occur across multiple browsers? Have you installed the most current version of Flash? << Last night I watched our short video on http://www.livestream.com/occupylasvegasofficial and it worked, but the longer one wouldn't. This morning the shorter one won't work either. Now I have discovered that all channels are similarly affected. The same problem happens on FF7/WinXP and IE7/Vista. I upgraded Flash on the XP machine yesterday. No difference. >> Also, please test your bandwidth at www.speedtest.net with your destination server set for New York, NY and let us know the result. << There is no server available at NY, NY. I tested for Syracuse. Download = 17.06mbps. Ping = 91ms. |

Today that long clip on my own channel is still failing to get past frame1 (with a perpetual loading graphic-spinner):
http://www.livestream.com/occupylasv...edium=ui-thumb BUT I CAN see all other clips on all other channels, including my own. So what's different about that one clip? Is 2hrs26mins too long? Any suggestions? Last edited by occupylasvegas; 21st January 2012 at 01:14. |

This just gets worse. I opened the Studio and tried re-importing the clip. It failed, the progress counter is at 0% and the clip completely *disappeared* from my channel. I can still see it listed in the Studio, but there isn't even a thumbnail on the public page.

occupylasvegas,
The clip in question failed to upload to our servers, which is why you are unable to view it. I would suggest trying the upload again. I would suggest encoding the clip at the specs listed below, and using the 'Use uploaded file as master' option that is presented in the file upload dialogue. Video: 400kbps, VP6 codec Audio: 64kbps, MP3 codec 4:3 dimensions: 480x360 16:9 dimensions: 480x270 Container file: FLV

Quote:
-Running most recent stable Firefox (15.0.1) -No adblock -Clearing cache and cookies did nothing -Speedtest gave: 90ms ping, 2.1 Mbps down, 340 kbps up -Reinstalling Flash also did not solve the problem |
