directx 10 error message on startup

When we open procaster, we receive a error message that states "that directx 10 is not working correctly and to check our video card or update our directx" after hitting ok, we hit retry and it brings up procaster with no problem...want to know how we can stop this error msg from coming up during the initial start-up
