Is livestreaming free?

I have had an account since last year, and I remember that it was free to livestream events but you didn't have good storage and you had to wait awhile before getting more than 50 people to join. Is this still true? Whenever I want to broadcast, I find that I am brought to a page requesting me to pay for a monthly plan. I don't want to pay to livestream a little bit, is there anyway I can livestream for free?

The Original Platform allows your to broadcast without any charge. Click the 'Launch a new channel' button in your account center to create a channel for free. Free channels are limited to 50 concurrent viewers unless verified. Additionally, the storage limit for free channels is 10GB.
