Just heard from newsupport that "unfortunately we do not have a list of modems that have been tested in Europe that will with in conjunction with the Livestream Broadcaster at this time".
It seems that Huawei E392u-12 does not work with Broadcaster (operator Saunalahti/Elisa in Finland). Any experiences of 3g/4g usb modems that do work? Last edited by jarmolahti; 9th July 2012 at 06:55. |

Anyone? How about some 3G/4G usb modems at least somewhere?

This information is available in the Broadcaster FAQ in the Livestream store:
Below please find the list of supported US Modems: Verizon Pantech UML290 T-Mobile Jet 2.0 AT&T USBConnect Momentum Clear Stick Atlas These modems were all tested with their latest firmware. Please be sure to install all latest upgrades for the best compatibility. Many more modems will work with the Livestream Broadcaster, including international carriers, but we do not officially support them at this time. -Ben Livestream Support |

Tnx, Ben. What can you tell at this time about support for other 3g/4g modems and international carriers? Especially 4g modems (speed) are crucial eg. when thinking streaming from outdoor events.

I just did a live streaming in Denmark with a 4G Huawei E392u-12 Telia as provider.
Did not stream HD but high in multi bitrate on a TriCaster 450 Ex. I had like 8 Mbit up in the middle of a field at the Roskilde Festival. Worked fine for two days but had a fall out on the third day. Don't know if it was the modem or Livestream that blew it. I have just required a report from Livestream. Kind regards Kristian |

With new Broadcaster and latest firmware I managed to get some test streamings through - only that those videos do not start. And Broadcaster had to be hooked to AC power.

I am also using a Huawei modem on docomo internet service provider. It is also a 3g modem and I am able to work with Broadcaster (operator Saunalahti/Elisa in Finland). May be you should try contacting your ISP or checking your network settings.
