Hi - I'm using a premium Livestream channel and the Procaster plugin on my Tricaster 450. I want to choose the right quality for my stream. Obviously it's a balance of bit rate / image quality.
What settings do you recommend for reaching a wide audience. Not everyone has a fast broadband connection. Is there any info available on typical domestic connection speeds? I'd rather make an informed choice than a guess. Lee |

leemartin,
Your best bet would be to broadcast at one of the multiple bit rate options: medium + mobile or high + medium + mobile depending on your available upstream bandwidth. I'd also recommend upgrading to the latest plugin for Tricaster if you haven't already, which can be downloaded at the following URL: http://cdn.livestream.com/mds/Livest...nForNewTek.exe
