Question Multi Intensity Shuttle

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me with a problem I have?
Is it possible to have connect to a computer through USB 3.0 more than
1 ( i need 3 ) different cameras with Intensity Shuttle.
I explain.... I need to connect 3 cameras (through HDMI) to a single
computer with USB 3.0 and then through Webcaster (which is web based) to send
each one video source to different channels at new Livestream.com

Any help or suggestion will be welcome

Thanks

Panos

airpanos,

This would require a massive amount of processing power and it's unlikely one machine would be capable of handling such a workload. If you require three separate feeds each would need to be done on a separate machine.

If you would like to stream to three separate channels you'd need a separate encoder for each, however if you'd like one feed and to switch cameras this can be done via an external switcher or device such as a Newtek TriCaster.

Question

OK.
I check the newtek product but its a expensive solutions with many things that i dont need
At livestream store I found a H.264 Pro Recorder from blackmagic.
If I make a connection
camera -> hdmi -> H.264 Pro Recorder -> laptop -> webcaster -> livestream channel
and all of these for 3 cameras -> 3 channels, you thing that it will work?

I don't want any HD video or any visual effects... just a simple live streaming

Sorry for the questions but I need a proffesional opinion and you seem to be the person
I need

This device is similar to the Intensity Shuttle you originally inquired about. You would still need a separate machine for each encode. At this time there are no workflows we can recommend where three separate feeds are brought into one machine and streamed to three different channels.

Another workflow you might be interested in is using Telestream Wirecast. With this program you can capture multiple feeds such as webcams, IP cams, other connected devices and switch between them.
