Default Problem installing Procaster

When attempting to install Procaster, nothing happens. I saved the .exe file into my downloads folder, but nothing happens when I try to activate the file.

I'm using Windows Vista.
I've downloaded the .exe file from IE7, Google Chrome, and Firefox.
I've tried running the file without saving the .exe file using IE7.
Still nothing happens.

DragonAirazel,

Does this occur when you run Procaster in Administrator mode.

DragonAirazel,

Please try installing the latest beta version of Procaster from the following URL on a fresh reboot with no additional programs open: http://www.livestream.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9146

I tried that link, but now I'm getting an error saying that the file cannot be found.

I had run the link given as an administrator 3 times. The first two times, nothing happened. The third time, the error that It doesn't exist appeared. What should I do?

DragonAirazel,

Are you saving the file to your computer and running it as administrator, or opening it from the web? I would suggest saving the file and running as administrator, if that is not what you are currently doing.

If this issue continues open a support ticket at the following URL: https://secure.livestream.com/myacco...ter/openticket

In this ticket, provide detailed information about your issue and the following info:

CPU, RAM
Operating System
Any Hardware (Camera, capture card, etc) and how it's connected
Procaster version number
Screenshots of any error messages you are receiving

I don't know where to find the RAM, I don't have any webcam or the like (I believe procaster is supposed to be able to record your desktop, am I correct?), and I really don't know how to take screenshots.

DragonAirazel,

Try going to the Control Panel and clicking System. This should provide you with much of the info Ernie previously requested.
