Error Message "Capture Card asynhronization detected"

I purchased the Black Magic H.264 Pro Recorder this week based on an email from Livestream. (Don't get me started on the fact Livestream would send out an email about that product only to announce the Broadcaster device a week later for pre-order.)

Installation was easy enough. I am running the latest software for the device and the latest Mac public release of Procaster on a MacBook Pro (OSX 10.7.3; Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz; 4 GB DDR3 Memory).

Generally within a minute of going live, I receive the following error message "Capture Card asynhronization detected." (As a side bar, the error is missing the "c" in asynchronization.)

What can be done to resolve this error message and achieve a live broadcast that can run for a reasonable period of time?
