I just did a paid event for our association and the video and audio seem to be out of sync. I have ruled out our internet provider as we have a DS-3.
Here's my setup: Mac book Pro (2.8, dual core i7, 8 GB ram) running Wirecast Pro. Camera input and another PC running the presentation with Desktop Presenter connected via a switch. Camera: Canon Vixia HV40 connected via Firewire to Mac. Audio: In-house audio connected directly to camera via the mic input. Speaker is using wireless mic and we are using a handheld wireless mic for questions. The audio/video sync was fine for feed that was saved on my Mac (I live streamed it and saved via Wirecast Pro). Problems seem to began almost instantly (go at least 11 minutes in for audio) and continued throughout the entire live streamed event (about 4 +- hours). Speedtest.net Testing: ![]() ![]() My Wirecast settings were: Encoder Preset: Flash High Bandwidth (H.264 (720x540) 44.1 Khz 696 K Rate This happened on /ustelecomevents (PW protected. I can email that if necessary.) What is the problem? |

I am assuming that paying $700 /month and having sync issues means nothing to Livestream? I guess it's time to find a new provider that cares about the problems their paying customers have.
Unfortunately I have to do 1-2 more using this service before I can switch. Good thing I recorded to disc... |

ustelecom,
I'm sorry to hear about your troubles, and also apologize for the delay in response. If you could, I would suggest either giving us a call at (877) 977-8732 or opening a support ticket at the following URL, so we may better assist you: https://secure.livestream.com/myacco...ter/openticket
