EDT to GMT+1 for EVENTS

Hi,
i'm a premium user from Italy.
Inside my channel settings i've setted "GMT+01.00 Rome" in "Time Zone".
Then i created a new channel's event and i used the local time but if i click on "RSVP" button to add my event on Google Calendar or iCal, the timing is wrong coz it takes the EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) by default that is GMT -04:00.

Apparently there's no way to change this setting.
I cannot adapt the timing for the RSVP coz if you simply read it and you don't notice "EDT" (or you don't know what it means) you'll get back to the channel page at the wrong time.

Is there someone out there who knows the solution?

At this time, it is only possible for these events to display as Eastern time. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
