Procaster 20.2.50 Release (modified 2012-02-09)

will not take on my macbook, and while I don't think one has to do with the other, I have been locked out of my mac since the failed update. (using a macBook Air at an apple store to post this)

What OSX version are you running and what do you mean by you're locked out of your Mac?

The current version of Procaster is only supported on 10.6 and higher, if you have 10.5 you'd need to use Procaster version 20.0.89.

I'm running OS X10.6.8 -

Somehow, the OS became corrupted after the failed install, and I had to reinstall the OS. I spent the better part of today downloading the combined updates. I now have it procaster 2.2.39 installed, and now, I cannot login. I get "login failed". and, yes, I am using the correct password.

Same version of OS X and same result for me. I'm running on a Mac Pro Dual Quad-core 3.0Ghz machine.

I was able to boot into "Safe Mode" by holding shift while rebooting the machine. Running disk utility found several disk permissions that needed to be repaired. After performing the "Repair Disk Permissions" function, the Mac Pro was able to boot up and run normally.
