Hello,
I own a Sony HD-XR500V camcorder. It has A/V R output, HDMI output and USB Output. http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/sto...mber=HDRXR500V ![]() I've talked with Sony support if my camcorder has USB Webcam feature. Unfortunetly I doesn't have.. I'm new to live streaming. So could you help me what should I do for livestreaming from Sony HD-XR500V? I don't know if I need any extra equipment or not.. Your regards, |

musaulker,
To stream in HD, you would need a tower computer with a PCI Express slot, with a Black Magic Intensity Pro to take the camera's HDMI output. You could also output your camera's HDMI to a Black Magic Intensity Extreme (Thunderbolt connection) or UltraStudio SDI (USB 3.0 connection). The Intensity Extreme and UltraStudio SDI are Mac solutions only at this time, as Procaster only features experimental support for these. For streaming in SD, you could output your camera's component connection to a Grass Valley ADVC-110, which connects to your computer via Firewire.
