Hey guys,
I'm currently live streaming Hamlet the play with the Tricaster 850. The production is going well. Though our audience and myself is noticing a constant jitter, skip and hiccup on the video, but the audio is fine. I have troubled shot the audience and the issue is not the their bandwidth or ours. Does anyone have an idea of the cause of this? |

Hello,
This issue is quite common with broadcasts originating from the HD Tricaster models. It is specifically caused by an incompatibility between the NVidia graphics cards installed on most macbook pros and the Hardware acceleration option in the flash player. To resolve it on the viewer end: - Right click on the player - Click "settings" - select the left most tab (monitor icon) - deselect the "Enable hardware acceleration option" - Refresh the browser Please note that this mainly occurs on Macs and you will likely not see the issue when viewing on a PC.
