Default Let's face it. 20.2 doesn't work.

I personally believe it doesn't work as intended, according to forums and my own personal experiences. I've tried installing over and over, deleting everything, and trying again, yet only to fail once more. Recording speaker output no longer works, and I can only stream sound through the internal mic (which is very unappealing to my viewers). Other than the few troubleshooting steps given by admins on the forums, can I [or we] be informed if Livestream is working on solving the issue with a new version sometime soon?

I've downloaded this version you've given me, and it shows that it is now my current version, however it did tell me that the installation failed. I still cannot record audio from my speakers. This is my main issue.

spookysky09,

Please try these following steps to work around the failed installation error you are receiving:

- Open Finder
- Press Shift+Cmd+G
- When the Go To Folder window appears, type /System
- In the System folder, navigate to the Library folder, then Extensions folder
- Move ProcasterAudioRedirector32 (or LivestreamAudioRedirector) to the trash
- Move the Procaster application to the trash
- Clean out the trash bin
- Reboot your machine
- Install Procaster from: http://cdn.livestream.com/mds/Livest...er-20-0-89.pkg

This is an older version of Procaster, but it won't experience the issues during install that the latest versions sometimes encounter. Let me know if this works for you.

If the instructions from ernie didn't work, you can download the latest version, we rewrote the way the installer installs the audio redirector.

Fixes:
-Stability
-Audio driver fixed (now for all version old to the latest version, snow leopard and Lion confirmed)
You can download the version from http://cdn.livestream.com/mds/Livest...er-20.2.36.pkg

Mia_Sehana,

Which OS are you running and do you receive any error message? You'll find versions newer than Procaster 20.2 available on the Procaster sections of the forum.
