Another desperate Linux user here! I REALLY want to avoid dual-booting to win7 just to broadcast on livestream (have not booted to win7 for over a year now, I also have virtual box with winxp and use that when I need windoze)...
Thanks, a Kubuntu 10.10 user... |

Another Linux user (Ubuntu/Debian/CENTOS/Fedora) here.
136 posts now, and still no Linux version. The true number of people who would use a Linux version of Procaster would be much, much higher, especially if you released it as open source and got it into the Ubuntu repos. |

How many Linux users is enough? I'm interested, for what it's worth.

We're currently in development of the linux version, here is a status update on what we at least must do before we release a version.
-Transparency bug with the user interface. -Generic webcam capture -About 10 small bug fixes So we are almost there. |

Another Linux/Ubuntu User.
'Cause Flash don't understand firewire on linux we need a simple aplication to stream a DV camera to livestream. V4l2 works well on webcaster, but procaster is nice. Gstreamer and Theourur works rally good on linux over icecast servers but is imposible to link this easly for common linux users broadcasters. Thanks for all. riachuelo
