IRC Compatability with Livestream Chat

This has been asked before.
Are there any plans yet to allow producers to use their own IRC rooms instead of the chat options that are currently available?
This could be setup easily, allow the producer to allow this.
If veiwers could use the livestream page as well as the producers website to log onto chat it would be a huge asset.

Hey Barometer Bob,
producers are free to embed the Livestream player on their own website, and thus can configure their own sites/chats any way they'd like. However I'll pass your request on to our developers, and I'm moving this thread to Feature Requests.

Great. If a broadcaster could have an option to have their own chat on the channel page, it would allow more interaction from the viewer.
We have hosted a chat for 12 years, and this option we feel would be a huge plus. Especially when people log on the channel page most have no clue how to access the website chat.
let me know how this works, we are willing to beta test this for you.

We are not allowed to embed the chat any way we would like. I would like a black background instead of a blindingly bright white background chat.

Take a look at Livestream studio. Take a look at Livestream Webcaster. I want a chat that looks like this to embed.

We have had this request from multiple Livestream users and have added it to our feature request list.

I have had the same chat room for 10+ years. To switch to the Livestream chat would create an issue being that some users, mods in general use irc programs.
I am waiting with patience for this feature to come about.
With the 2011 Hurricane Season coming we average 60-100 chat users during a live show, during a hurricane warning and landfall. If we were able to incorporate the usage of the Livestream chat portal into our irc chat we would have more people in the chat room and more people watching the video stream.

We don't currently have any plan to implement this, but if we do I'll be sure to update this thread. You can find updates on our blog as well(http://www.livestream.com/blog). In the meantime, embedding the Livestream video player on your own site is the best work around.
