FF Crashes when "browse" is clicked in Studio

This has gotten pretty annoying, because I have to use IE whenever I use my laptop for this. I have adblock plus disabled, but whenever I click browse in studio (for a banner or video) the firefox window gets deselected like it should, but the browse window doesn't come up. The thing just sits there, and eventually says it's not responding. I'm not sure when this started happening, but I remember being able to use it before.
