Default No sounds from my end of stream

I have hosted videos before and was getting audio just fine. It wasn't until recently that all audio from any channel on livestream went completely mute regardless if I play with the audio settings or not. When I do a live show with a microphone, people can hear me fine but I can't hear myself when I playback the video. My sound works fine on other sites and files on my computer, so is there a setting on livestream I might have mistakenly allowed?

RedSatan,

I'll just need some clarification. Are you watching your stream and not getting any audio, or are you broadcasting with Procaster and hoping for audio preview?

my issue seems similar. there is audio in the very beginning of the recordings that get saved to my hard drive when i use procaster, but then it cuts out after about 2 seconds and is mute for the duration. fortunately, this doesn't seem to be happening to the same recordings that get stored online, but it is still scary!

can you please help?

thanks,

jesh *

What are you using to play the videos back, jeshderox? I recommend trying with VLC if you haven't tried yet.

Best,
Jason

The former. When I watch any livestream channel (mine or friends) I am not getting any audio. Everyone can hear me fine and my own audio devices/drivers are working to the best of my knowledge.

RedSatan,

I'd suggest opening a support ticket and we can troubleshoot with you further. Please include a link to this thread and also provide your system specs, including:

CPU, RAM, Video card
Flash and browser version
Internet connection type : Wired, Wireless, 3G etc.,
Internet DL/UL speed (please visit www.speedtest.net)

You can open a support ticket here:

Opening a support ticket would be the best way to go about this, as it seems to be an individual issue with your local settings. When you open a ticket, please specify which channels this is happening with so we can investigate.

Best,
Jason
