That's what we first tried but it isn't working. Having Speaker's Audio as the unique audio input it sounds nothing, and together with the Built-In Mic is only echoes!

Are you using a Windows XP system, if so audio mixing isn't supported in Procaster and might explain the issue of not getting any audio when configured only for speaker's audio.

Default Can Produciton Team Members Stream From Desktop?

Can production team members that I've added stream from their desktop on my channel? I tried reading the support documents and following their directions, using the Studio "Cameras" section to try and add their perspective as my source, but nothing shows up under "Cameras"

Is this feature literally only for webcams, or should it be possible for my production team members to stream live feed of their desktops on my channel?

Thanks

Centimetro,

Your production team members can indeed stream their desktops.

Default does the stream speed change?

if i set my bitrate at 800 kbps, and at the start of my live stream i have anough bandwidth, but as the live event goes on, my bandwidth deteriorates, will procaster automatically adjust the number of streaming kbps downward to accommodate the lower bandwidth

similarly, if i set a streamrate that is too high, will procaster automatically stream as much as the bandwidth will allow?

ive noticed what i set and what streams can be different, im assuming based on the ability of my computer to produce a stream and the amount of bandwidth available

procaster seems to adjust to the situation, am i right or will the stream simply become degraded until the bandwidth improves

thanks

You are correct, if the bandwidth degrades during your stream Procaster will also degrade the quality of your broadcast, by dropping the kbps and also lowering the frame rate.

If you have bandwidth greater than the preset you are set to in Procaster however the stream quality will not increase much beyond it, other than occasional spikes.

Default so its best to set bitrate high

im guessing if i set the bitrate high, procaster will take advantage of the spikes in bandwidth, but automaticaly adjust when bandwidth decreases
