Default Broadcast VPS ( Virrtual Private Server ) screen

Hi

I have a VPS that is running remotely. I am running some applications there and I want to broadcast that screen live. I installed Livestream broadcaster at that remote PC ( VPS ) When I remotely connect to VPS and open remote desktop on my local PC, livestream Podcaster works fine at that VPS and does the job well. However, once I minimize the remote session on my local PC or disconnect from the session, the podcaster stops capturing screen video. I guess it may be related to the fact that my REAL desktop does not provide window context anymore.

Does anyone know how to broadcast screen of a remote Desktop without actually showing it on the REAL screen at local PC.

Any other solutions are welcomed.

Kind regards
John

managedforex,

I am thinking when you are trying to access your remote computer and log off, it resets the settings, and makes it seam like you logged off your session. if that's the case, it closes out any applications running. Try logmein or teamviewer to see if that works for you.

Hi Matt,

Thank you for your help.
It is happening even if I just minimize the session without logging of or disconnecting.
It might be just a problem with Procaster when it fails to get some window dimensions, window context or whatever it uses in capturing the screen. I would say it might be worth to try youself to run it on remote computer and see the problem. May be your developers might see the problem and fix it or find a workaround.

Thank you for response
Regards

John.

John,

Have you been able to try teamviewer or logmeon?
