RSS feed in ticker not updating?

Hey guys,

Well i have a php mysql chatroom on my website, and I have just figured out how to pass what is being said into a RSS feed to use on my live stream.

So I got my RSS feed into my ticker but it doesn't update! It only updates when I click Show or Hide ticker, but thats not the best method for me because i want it to automatically update.

Is there anyway to make it update by its self?
