I don't believe this is possible. To my knowledge Window Movie Maker cannot edit Flash files.

If you streamed using the H.264 codec (as opposed to VP6), it's possible Livestream recorded the file as .mp4. WMP12 on Windows 7 can play H.264 .mp4 files although I haven't tested directly with Livestream files.
If WMP12 can play the file maybe Movie Maker can handle it as well. Alternately if WMP12 can play the file but Movie Maker can't, you can download Microsoft Expression Encoder (free version) and you may be able to transcode the file to .wmv. |

What is the editing software usually used with the recorded files.

I'd check to see that if WMP12 on Windows7 can handle .mp4 that maybe MovieMaker can as well on Windows 7. I'd think converting to .wmv for MovieMaker would work.
I think Adobe Premiere Pro can handle H.264 directly but this is certainly a professional editing program with price to match. |
