It was bad enough when the lable for the over the sholder graphic quit displaying.
I used to just find the weather cam in the over the sholder graphic image list in the left column and click show. The camera image would show up on the output monitor and the name of the location would be right below the image.

Then you removed the title of the graphic when it is diplayed. That let me display a weather-cam but the viewers had no idea where the camera was.

So for the last few weeks I have had to select each web cam (IE Jasper, Gulf Shores, Montgomery, etc. And the find the matcing lower third graphic (IE JASPER Live weathercam, etc. And show it so that viewers would know what the over the sholder weathercam was showing. Instead of one click to show, and then perpratdly hitting {NEXT} to show all the web cams, I have to do everthing twice, once for the graphic and a second time for the Text using the lower third.

You also removed the slider for the times between updates.


I used to just bring up my graphic editor and load my scoreboard direct from my FTP site that was maped to drive F:
A quick edit changed the score, then I clicked the {SAVE} button in the editor. With just one over the shoulder grapic turned on and set to refresh every 5 seconds I could quickly and easily change the scoreboard displayed over the sholder.

For the last few weeks I have had to save the score to a different file name and put that new ftp address into the over the sholder grapic area and click show. That went from one button click to 5 button click plus a copy/paste operation.

Today it all went to hell.
I went to broadcast a weather report followed by a High School Regional wrestling playoff tonight.
To my horror, the left hand column containing all the over the sholder thumbnails and short names is gone. I now have to find the right over the sholder grapic from the single column list of rather cryptic HTML and FTP addresses, Worse, they are also truncated so I can't see the unique few letters that might tell me which graphic I am selecting.

My list in the over the sholder area of the studio now looks like this:

Even If I hover the mouse over the link and display the entire thing, it is often just a ip address of the webcam or some cryptic set of numbers assigned by one of the picture shareing sites.

Without at least the short operator friendly labels and/or the thumbnails, the over the sholder graphics are unusable.

Add that to the other features you have disable or ruined like the test card in the branding tab, the RSS import of video in the library and soon there will be no reason to use the studio at all.

Quit with this mad rush to "Sreamline" or "simplify" by removing features many of us have come to depend on.

So. Enough RANT
My question.

How do I invoke the older versions of studio? What is the URL that will take me to the working version from a month ago? You know, the one where the transition button still works without haveing to play a pre-recorded clip between camera changes.
