Default Where is my audio!?

I have procaster installed on both my Dell Windows XP Pro laptop and my HP Windows 7 Premium laptop. Both are updtaed with the latest updates. I can stream video just fine, but no matter what I try, no matter if I use the built-in speakers, or if I use an external mic, I CANNOT get the audio to stream.

Someone.
Please. Help.

Default audio lost--different OS

Our audio disappeared during a live broadcast. I'm guessing something happened during the refresh of the stream.
Although we are working on a Mac--I thought I'd post here too.
Initially, Flash was causing Safari to crash--so I followed the instructions posted on Apple's chat forum to uninstall and reinstall the latest Flash player. I have yet to see Flash cause another crash in Safari--but I have my fingers crossed that this was a fix.
However, upon doing this we lost audio on our livestream live broadcast. Our options in the dropdown menu disappeared in both Procaster and the Camera tab of the Broadcast Live page. Weird, huh?
So I tried quitting both Safari and Procaster. Then I reopened Procaster and our dropdown menu audio selection came back! What the heck?
So--great that it's fixed--but why does this happen?

The other thing is--and maybe this is because it is the first time we've tried this--we are playing a 4.5 hour program on a loop all weekend. Could this have something to do with either Safari crashing or losing audio?

Thanks!!!

Okay, I got the audio to work, but its EXTREMELY low quality, and I've used 3 different Mics. Any suggestions?

The audio for me isn't being sent through either, and it was working perfectly last night. Using a Compaq Windows 7 too. ~_~
