Default Procaster Connection Issues

Every time I try logging in with Procaster, it says, "Error Connection Failed". I know that I'm using the right password and Username, so why won't it connect?

Hello,

If you can please let me know the version of procaster you are using, and your results from www.speedtest.net

Interesting, after trying to start the program under Win7 it worked just fine, at the same computer! (Currently using WinXP 32bit, which i prefer because playing Starcraft 2 with Win7 on my machine is very bluescreen intensive.)

According to your upload speed, it is very low. I suggest that if you do stream, please set it for low.

Default Cannot go LIVE: Error Connecting to Server

I have been trying to initiate a live stream using the Procaster and it will not let me. I am logged in fine, however when I press the GO LIVE button, it goes through the motions as it tries to connect to the Livestream server (port 80), but then comes up with an error that says:

Livestream Procaster

Error Connecting to Server

Please help me fix this issue.

Crookedruse,

Are you still having an issue connecting to the Procaster server?

If so, I'll try to assist you. I would first recommend testing the speed of your Internet connection at www.speedtest.net. If you are still having problems, it would help if you could give me the following info about your configuration:

- CPU, RAM, Video card
- Flash and browser version
- Audio-video bitrate and sampling rate settings.
- Internet connection type : Wired, Wireless, 3G etc.,

Thanks,
Matt Baron

Also CrookedRuse, if you're behind a firewall, make sure that RTMP ports (80 and 1935) are open to communication.
