Default Stream is creating automatic Video On-demand

I do like the feature that it is recording my stream and putting it back on VOD to watch later, however is there a way that I can trigger when each VOD starts and stops? (without stopping and restating the stream)

I play a video game on stream and would like it to start at the beginning of a match, and end at the end of the match, then i can go back and rename it so it appropriately fits the video

the way it is now is it just records everything, its real hard to find certain matches to go back and watch and theres a lot of time in the middle of matches that is pointless to have recorded.

i appreciate all help, thank you!

Currently, you cannot do this within procaster without stopping your broadcast. What you can do is open up Livestream Studio (www.livestream.com/studio) and Stop and Start your recording manually. More information on recording in Studio can be found here: http://www.livestream.com/userguide/...estream_Studio

Thank you, let me make sure I am clear;

- I am broadcasting, it is creating a VOD automatically
- I go to the livestream studio to manually start/stop recordings and this will create an additional vod?

So I will have a vod of the whole stream from start of broadcast to finish

and I will have an additional VOD of each manually recorded segment??

In my experience once you stop recording and hit start again it "readies" and then you'd need to select the camera source again and when you take it, the recording will start again.

In other words "start" puts it in a "ready" state and the recording begins again when you take the camera.

You may have a small gap in the recording given the time it takes to stop and then tread and take the same camera again. The stream may be near seamless but you'll get a small gap in the recording.

At least this is my experince when I've done this.
