What's with all the chat lag?

This is really getting on my nerves, the chats in the channels I've been going to keep lagging for a period of about 10 seconds. I know it's not just on my end because the other viewers complain about it at the same time, so it's something that is affecting everyone at the same time.

It first started happening when you guys removed the user list, and it's been increasing ever since (I'd say it hit a spike around the time user moderation was implemented.)

Personally, the chat changes were pointless, but the addition of banning was a savior.

Still, the chat lag is really bad, and getting worse. I'm wondering what's up with it too.

Yes it's really annoying. Sometimes the order of the typed text flips around too, amusing at times, but mostly annoying.

Things seem to be a lot better after Mogulus blinked out a bit earlier.
There's still occassional lag, but it's nowhere near as bad as it had been.
