Default How to capture second screen?

Hi folks,

I just installed the newest beta release and I can't get the second screen sharing running.
Once I go Live, there is a button for screen, but it only shows the one on my macbook, not the external monitor.

I checked the "Start captue 2nd Monitor" option in the preferences, but it doesn't change anything. I'm not sure if this is the right option...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

hi

you may try to zoom in a little, until you see the cross hairs, and then grab them with the mouse and move them

thanks

Hi,

I have the opposite problem. I am drawing on a cintiq (primary monitor) but the recording is defaulted on my secondary monitor. I want to switch my default record mode to my cintiq. How do i do this?

Thanks,
Aaron

Hey Aaron,

actually I'm also using the cintiq, so I have the same setup as you. By writing second screen I ment the hardware, not the screen alignment. So it's the same solution for you...

Liorm's tip worked perfectly - thanks a lot!

Just don't get confused by the fact the red corners don't show up until you hit the zoom out button on the bottom. (Which appears as soon as you start recording something. You can click and drag the corners to the cintiq, being it the secondary or primary doesn't matter. The alignment of the corners was saved by the program, so it's on the cintiq now.
