So I have streamed and recorded video to this web site using Adobe Flash Media Encoder but I have ipad users saying they cannot view the video, even with the livestream app. I know, flash does not play on ipad and that I should have used procaster with particular settings, but procaster did not work well and was unstable and produced enough errors I needed to find a more reliable solution.
Can I re-encode this video, either livestream's copy or my local flash copy so that ipad users can view the video? I am new to this, so bear with me. |

pellett,
At this time, free channels cannot upload mobile compatible content. For mobile compatibility, you must broadcast using the H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec.

airtek,
Mobile devices can view your live broadcast whether your channel is Free or Premium, provided you encode using H.264/AAC video/audio codecs, which Procaster publishes by default.

Yes, of course you can convert the videos to MP4(H.264) for playing on iPad.
