Free plan storage limit

With free accounts I was wondering if free accounts can accumulate 10 gb per month for free or do you get a 10 gb cap at all times?

eg: first month limit 10gb second month 20 gb etc.....

And if you pay for say the extra usage, do you pay that the next month also

eg first month 11 gb pay the fee for the 1 gb

next month you add 2 gb of use making it a total of 13 gb. Do you pay for 3 gb worth of excess or 2 gb?

Does storage roll over?

Storage does not roll over. Your account will have a 10gb cap at all times, and the extra storage paid for via overages will not carry over to the next month.

Quite a poor limit really, and to go from free to a paid package seems like a HUGE step in terms of the price, feels like the focus is on the big boys rather than helping the small ones...
